- To eat a snail, Obama ladislavii first tries to hold it down with muscular force; if that works, it everts its pharynx and begins to suck the soft body. When the snail tries to flee, the flatworm can simply climb onto the shell, letting the snail's own movement pull the predator along, so the planarian can place its mouth near the shell without needing to immobilize the prey first.
- Green as a traffic light, Obama ladislavii can stretch beyond a ruler's length, with the largest individuals reaching about 100 millimeters or more.
