• The species is also encountered inside human dwellings, being found in houses and apartments. In urban interiors it may settle on walls or windows, taking advantage of the warm, sheltered environment. During daylight it retreats to woven tubes hidden in tree bark or shrub branches, emerging only after dark to hunt. Thus both natural trees and built-up homes can serve as its habitat.
