Content policy

Rules differ slightly depending on your type — read whichever applies to you.

Wildlife photographers
Animals must be wild and free. Photographed in their natural habitat, unrestrained, and undisturbed.
No captive animals. Zoos, safari parks, aquariums, and private collections are not permitted. If it could be mistaken for captive, explain the context in your caption.
No baiting or staging. Any shot requiring luring, baiting, or stressing an animal is not accepted.

Biologists, rangers & rewilding professionals
Professional fieldwork is welcome. Handling for research, tagging, health checks, licensed rehabilitation, and rewilding releases are all accepted — provided your caption clearly explains the professional context.
Licensed rehab facilities are accepted when the post explains the animal's situation and conservation purpose.
No captivity without context. Zoo or enclosure animals with no conservation or research explanation will be removed.

Sanctuaries, rescue centres & conservation NGOs
Animals in licensed care are accepted. Rehabilitation, rescue, captive breeding for conservation, and field surveys all qualify. Caption should state the context.
Show real work. Feeding rounds, treatments, releases, habitat patrols, field surveys — the work your team actually does, with the animals you care for.
No misleading framing. Do not caption captive animals as wild. Your audience should always know where the animal is and why it is in your care.
One profile per organisation. Apply once and manage all species posts from your profile editor.
