By accessing or using Feravox, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Feravox application and website located at feravox.app ("the Service"), operated by Sacha Schell / Ferox Creations ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you confirm you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms.
Feravox is a wildlife discovery application that presents facts, images, and information about animals from around the world. Content is generated using artificial intelligence and sourced from publicly available databases including iNaturalist, Wikipedia, and the Encyclopedia of Life. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any animal information presented.
You may use Feravox as a guest or create an account using your email address via a magic sign-in link. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Feravox offers optional paid Premium subscriptions that unlock additional features. The following applies to all Premium purchases:
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to withdraw from a subscription contract within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason (the "cooling-off period"), in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
To exercise this right, contact us at privacy@feravox.app within 14 days of your purchase. We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal request.
Please note: by purchasing a Premium subscription, you may request that we begin providing the service immediately. If you exercise your right of withdrawal after the service has begun, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the portion of the service already delivered.

All content, design, and code within the Feravox Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to Feravox and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
Animal images sourced from iNaturalist, Wikipedia, and the Encyclopedia of Life remain the property of their respective photographers and are used under Creative Commons licences. Feravox does not claim ownership of these images. If you believe your image is being used incorrectly, please contact us at privacy@feravox.app.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy, including the potential sale or transfer of anonymised, aggregated data.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as WWF adoption pages). These are provided for your convenience and do not constitute an endorsement. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party services.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that animal facts presented are accurate, complete, or up to date. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Feravox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the app. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction.
