The song cements their pair bond and warns rivals: this territory is taken. Some pairs have sung together for over 20 years.
• They hang by one arm to feed — a biomechanical feat most primates can't pull off. Their arm span reaches 1.5 metres while their body weighs just 7 kilograms, giving them a limb-to-body ratio that turns them into living pendulums.
