Over 4,000 species and growing. We add new animals regularly, with a focus on species that are interesting, unusual, or have important conservation stories worth sharing.
Animal facts are compiled from scientific databases including iNaturalist, Wikipedia, and the Encyclopedia of Life. Conservation statuses come directly from the IUCN Red List. We review facts for accuracy, but if you spot an error, please let us know.
All sounds are real field recordings sourced from public wildlife sound archives. You hear the actual call of the animal — not a recreation.

Premium unlocks: deeper "premium facts" for every animal, all 11 game modes (vs. 3 on free), the full archive browser, unlimited daily trivia, and early access to new features.
On iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Feravox → Cancel. On Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → Feravox → Cancel. You keep Premium access until the end of the billing period.
